Product Care & Help Guide

Heavy-duty motorcycle covers and outdoor shelters are engineered to withstand severe British weather. To maximize the lifespan and water repellency of your protective gear, please observe these essential recommendations:

1. Engine & Exhaust Pipe Cooling

  • Crucial Precaution: Always allow your motorcycle engine, headers, and exhaust pipes to cool completely for at least 15 to 20 minutes before fitting your cover. Fitting any fabric cover over hot exhaust metal can melt coatings and damage fabric fibers.

2. Cleaning & Washing Instructions

  • Surface Dirt: Clean mud, road salt, and bird droppings using a soft sponge, warm water, and a mild automotive shampoo.
  • Do Not Machine Wash: Never place heavy-duty Oxford covers or PVC-coated canopies into a domestic washing machine or tumble dryer, as agitation strips heat-taped waterproof seams and PU coatings.

3. Wind Anchoring & Ventilation

  • Secure Buckles: Always secure the under-belly windproof straps and cinch the elastic wheel hems during high-wind forecasts to prevent cover flapping against bodywork.
  • Air Vents: Ensure covered triangular mesh vents remain unobstructed to allow natural airflow and prevent condensation buildup under the canopy.
